Books you should read this September if:

It’s the last stretch before autumn truly consumes us all, as a kind embrace after the return. September has always stood as a landmark for change, transitions and returning. Returning to the routine, our workspaces, new jobs, new semester, Back-to-School shopping, deep cleaning and entering a second New Year.

We are now left with two days before the novelty of it all dies down, and muscle memory kicks in. We grow accustomed to the time we had been waking up at for the last year, yet somehow forgot over two weeks. I’m definitely late posting this month’s recommended list of books to accompany you during the four weeks that are now behind us. However, if any reader remains in the lingering period of the in-between, here’s a list for you, if:

You’re going back to work

You’re going through a breakup

You’re going back to university

You’re holding onto summer

You can’t wait for cold mornings and a slow-paced life

You’re navigating motherhood

You’re falling in love

You want a book that truly feels like September

Wishing you a wonderful transition into autumn, and through the inevitable changes that September brings.
